Day 01
Airport - Negombo
Arrive in Sri
Lanka, to be met at the airport and transfer by
air-conditioned Vehicle to a Hotel in Negombo, Negombo
is a bustling city close to the Bandaranaike
International Airport; and second largest city in the
Western province, after Colombo. Rest of the day at your
leisure.
Dinner and overnight stay in Negombo.

Day 02
Kithulgala
You will be
taken to the Kitulgala, where you could challenge
yourself to some whitewater rafting down the Kelani
River. The Kelani river graded 2/3 rafting site
stretches for six kilometres with seven exciting rapids.
Alternately you could visit the Beli Lena caves. This is
a famous cave where the 12,000 year old skeletal remains
of the Balangoda Man (Homo sapiens Balangodensis) were
found. Also found here are the waste parts of the food
consumed by them.

Day 03
Ella
Today you
will drive through Scenic remote countryside passing
beautiful paddy fields, lakes, reservoirs and mountain
passes. You will arrive at the scenic village of
Karandagolla, Ella, where you will spend overnight.

Day 04
Badulla - Bandarawela
Leave the
world of tea gardens to the more temperate climate of
Belihul Oya/ Haldummulla. You will notice the sudden
changes in vegetation and climate within a matter of
minutes as you descend to lower altitudes.

Day 05
Bandarawela
Trek to Sri
Lanka's highest water falls, the Bambarakande. You can
have a picnic lunch close to the falls.

Day 06
Bandarawela
Visit the
Diyaluma waterfalls after a leisurely breakfast. Return
either via Wellawaya or Poonagala.

Day 07
Ohiya - Bandarawela
Take the
morning train to Ohiya. From the Ohiya station, walk to
Pilkington point and proceed through the Udaweriya tea
estate to Haldummulla. This is an increasingly
challenging walk through tea plantations, mountain
slopes and thick jungle. Spend the rest of the evening.

Day 08
Nuwara
Eliya
The next day
after breakfast you will explore “Little England” a city
tour with option to walk around the streets. We will
also visit the Hakgala botanical gardens.
Dinner and overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 09
Knuckles
Today you
will be visiting the Knuckles mountain range. Its name
describes its outline. The Knuckles Range consists of
the Knuckles massif, the Knuckles range and the Knuckles
peaks. There are 35 peaks rising to more than 3000 feet
(915 m) in the Knuckles range. You will arrive at the
mountain cottage tucked away in a remote village, where
you will spend the night.

Day 10
Kandy
Today you
will be visiting the Knuckles mountain range. The
winding roads will lead you through spectacular mountain
scenery. You will arrive at the mountain lodge tucked
away in a remote village, where you will spend the
night.

Day 11
Pinnawala - Colombo
After an
early breakfast travel to Sri Lanka’s cultural triangle
via Elephant Orphanage,a institution that has been
looking after orphaned or injured elephants. If you
leave the hotel early then you can watch the elephants
bath in the river after the youngest babies are milk
fed. After lunch you will leave for the cultural
triangle and check in at a hotel in Habarana. In the
late afternoon we will organize a one-hour elephant ride
through dry land jungle.

Day 12
Airport
Depart in good time for your
flight home.
